Alexander Umnjašov was an engineer in Poljot and after Poljot collapsed he opened his own company with the Umnyashov brand. In is interesting that Umnyashov uses almost only russian movements for it's watches, that is the key difference to all other simmilar projects. Umnyashov works well and is in expansion, today it has several different lines of watches. All Umnyashov watches have focus on the design.

I have two of it's watches, one chronograph with 3133 movement and one 24h watch Sputnik with Vostok movement, which is also presented in the Space section.
