Betar is an old company which used to be a part of Vostok group, but after the fall of the Soviet Union it became independant company. Betar is specialized in gas and water production and measurement's instruments. As I know in the celebration of 25 years of the independent company they ordered at Vostok Europe a collection of watches for it's business partners. Due to big success and high interest of this watches that became a spin-off and watches became a new line of business within Betar company. For now they have a collection of chronographs with Miyota 6S21 movement, probably still assembled in Vostok Europe.
