Seagull is one of the most important and biggest Chinese watches and movements factory. It was established in 1958 in Tianjin. Official name of the company was Tianjin watch factory, watches were produced with the Seagull brand and now company is known by this name. Primarly company copied legaly or illegaly different swiss movements, now own development and own movements exists as well.

Seagull developed an alarm movement Seagul 2800 arround 2010, it is again based on AS1475. It has a very quiet sound. Movement was or is used by several no-name companies, from better known producers I found this movement in the Sorna (new one) watches. But in general movement is not widely used even though it's the cheapest on the market.
