Romanoff was founded in 1993 at first in close cooperation with Poljot. I have a feeling that Romanoff might be another brand within the Poljot group but that is speculation....

In close cooperation with Poljot Romanoff produced strictly watches with Poljot movements, 3133 prevealed. Romanoff also produced watches under the brand "Moskva Kremlj" for a while.

After Poljot was closed, Romanoff changed it's movement's pallete, even some ETA swiss movements were used. Sadly also this company now in general use quartz and Miyota mechanical movements. I own one watch from late 1990's period when Poljot 3133 movement was the main movement to be used.
